Samantha works as a Senior Lecturer in Social Work at The University of Salford and trains post graduate social work students. In her own words: “I joined SHM as I wanted to give my time, energy and hopefully skills and experience to work with local people who experience difficulties in their lives. As a lecturer I would like the University as a local provider to become more involved in the local community to help improve the health and well being of local people.” Samantha’s professional background is in mental health, where she has worked as a practitioner and manager and she is particularly interested in helping SHM integrate and provide health and social care services to improve people's well being.
