Helen is the Director of Community Safety, Culture and Sport for Trafford Council, managing a wide range of services including an Arts centre and CCTV network. She is also the lead for the Council on Trafford's Drug and Alcohol action team. She was one of the founder Directors of SHM and brought experience of delivering services in partnership with Health to the Board. Helen's background is in the Probation and Youth Offending Services. She is passionate about reducing inequalities and the difficulties these can create for individuals, families and communities. She believes that this can best be done by organisations working together and is delighted to see the involvement of SHM in Salford's Neighbourhood development work.
