What is a Community Interest Company (CIC)?
Community Interest Companies provide by law for all of the funding to stay in local services, so it is different from other types of company which pay money out to
share holders.
These are sometimes known as ‘not for profit’ organisations. To become a CIC a government regulator had to agree that our company works in the public interest.
The name of our company is Salford Health Matters, because we care about your health and want to make sure that you get the best possible services.
So far, we have submitted an Outline Business Case to the PCT to put forward proposals for developing these services.
If you require a copy of the Outline Business Case or further information please call 0161 787 8880 or email Info@salfordhealthmatters.co.uk

Currently we are preparing a detailed response to a tender issued by Salford PCT, to take on the delivery of services
in the four sites. We would welcome your comments and questions.
